BLOOD DONOR DRIVE - PUGLIA
Montreal Jan.16, 2005 - General meeting of the Federation of Pugliese associations. Some 70 people were present at the head office of the Federation. The meeting included representative members from 15 member associations. This information session will be followed by a planning meeting with representatives from associations to establish a plan of action for an April clinic and blood drive.

Continuing efforts to plan for the blood drive have proven positive. The time was right for Mario Chieffo to bring out the "Vendemmia Italiana" banner. Héma-Québec was invited to the "pugliese" initiative scheduled for June 28, 2005, at Villa Italia, 8600 Maurice-Duplessis (RDP, Montreal) from 2 pm to 8 pm.
An objective of 75 donations was fixed by the organizers.
